Dunhuang Visitor Center Approved
I heard about that project two years ago when I went to Dunhuang, now everything is becoming reality and I can’t wait to see the finished project.
It is another amazing example of a project that is probably only possible to realize here in China. Dunhuang is in the middle of the Desert, but with increasing numbers of tourists (Chinese huge population) and strong government support I expect that this project will be financially successful.

Visitors will learn about Dunhuang’s rich history and explore its most majestic cave temples in a 360 degree domed auditorium configured to display vivid digital images of the wall paintings and sculptures.Please read further here…

Morgao Grottoes
The Mogar Grottoes (莫高窟) form a system of 492 temples form a system of 492 temples 25 km (15.5 miles) southeast of the center of Dunhuang, an oasis strategically located at a religious and cultural crossroads on the Silk Road, in Gansu province, China.

The caves contain some of the finest examples of Buddhist art spanning a period of 1,000 years. The first caves were dug out 366 AD as places of Buddhist meditation and worship. The Mogao Grottoes became one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1987.
